Abstract:
Higher education, as the main stage of personnel training, shoulders the important mission of cultivating innovative talents.
Based on the STAR model in behavioral interview, this paper applies the model to the training process of college students' creative
ability, so that the situations, tasks, actions and results would correspond to the clear topic selections, demonstration PPTs, group
discussions, summaries and expansions in the classroom group discussion teaching. This paper probes into the applicability of the
teaching mode and the cultivation of innovation ability in the classroom group discussion from four aspects, i.e. teaching mode, content
extension, group collaboration and summary, in order to deduce the driving path of participation and enthusiasm to the cultivation of
college students' innovative ability, and to provide reference experience for the education and cultivation of innovation ability in
colleges and universities.
